Titu Bardhan If JNUSU (Jawaharlal University Students Union) is famous for giving bright names such as Sitaram Yechury, Prakash Karat to Indian polity, DUSU also prides itself in matching up with Arun Jaitley and Vijay Goyel. But though JNUSU has maintained in giving serious intellectually and politically sound leaders, DUSU (Delhi University Students Union) has become what in simple terms is called 'Mad house'.  Being a former DU student,  I have had the displeasure of seeing DUSU elections up close, and believe me on this, the things which happen will make you cringe. DUSU elections is all about money and muscle. You won't find an ounce of democracy or any rational political activism in DUSU. So, get ready for the joyride.  The last few DUSU elections have been won by the ABVP and NSUI, on alternate terms or jointly, with people like Satender Awana, Priyanka Chawri, Amit Tanwar and Rocky Tuseed leading it. নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতাঃ  GKCIET (গণি খান চৌধুরী ইন্সিটিউট অফ ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং অ্যান্ড টেকনোলজি)-এর পড়ুয়াদের টানা প্রায় ১ মাস লড়াইয়ের পর টনক নড়ল রাজ্যপালের। ২৩শে জুলাই, ২০১৮ থেকে যে আন্দোলনের কথা বারবার বিভিন্নভাবে সরকারকে জানিয়ে আসা হচ্ছে তারপরেও সরকারের বৈমাত্রেয় আচরণ বিভিন্ন স্তরের মানুষকে  চিন্তিত করলেও, পড়ুয়াদের হার না মানা লড়াই এবং অদম্য মনের জোরের কাছে হার মানল রাষ্ট্র। খোলা আকাশের নীচে অসুস্থকর পরিবেশে লড়াইয়ের পর ৬ই সেপ্টেম্বর রাজ্যপালের সাক্ষাৎ নিঃসন্দেহে ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের এক বড় জয়। বৃষ্টি ভেজা রাজপথে  প্রতারিত পড়ুয়াদের বৈধ সার্টিফিকেটের দাবীতে এই মিছিলে পা মেলান শহরের সমস্ত স্তরের মানুষ। মিছিল শেষে ধর্মতলা থেকে ৫ জনের প্রতিনিধি দল যায় রাজ্যপালের সাথে কথা বলতে। GKCIET-এর ছাত্রছাত্রীদের দাবীতে এদিন রাস্তায় দেখা গেল এ রাজ্যের বিভিন্ন কলেজ ও ইউনিভার্সিটির পড়ুয়াদের ও অধ্যাপকদের।প্রতিনিধি দলের তরফ থেকে এই আন্দোলনের অন্যতম মুখ শাহিন আমাদের জানান যে রাজ্যপাল তাঁদের কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের একটি গ্যাজেট দেখিয়ে বলেছেন যে বিতর্কিত ২+২ মডিউলার কোর্স আই.টি.আই কোর্সের সমতুল্য। তবে বি. টেক.-এ ভর্তির ব্যাপা
